Do those flames done about 2 years ago, look like they were done by a ‘specialist’ for $150.00 per hour?</p> <p>Yah, I don’t think so. Looks like the threw his buddy some work he did not want to do.</p> <p>Now, I won’t tell you my brother is not a bit of a redneck wanna be, but, he paid for it, and is normally polite, if weird.</p> <p>The lady who did the heart, on Schoolhouse in Coquitlam, was a terrible artist, but was super nice to my brother, and did not charge very much. Working for miniumum wage, or just a bit better, hearing petty complaints and trying to exceed customers expectations one person at a time. I enjoy listening to the complaints and un realistic ideals espoused by people making a great deal more money than I and having a great deal more time on their hands. I enjoy being the scapegoat for the company, and risking getting fired in order to Cover my employers ass.</p> <p>Said no person ever.</p> <p>case one.</p> <p>A women brings her large bag of costco purchased coffee beans in to be ground. She insists we do so (in un named coffee store) as the beans are labeled as ROASTED at S___s. We try to explain that roasted at means the beans are not ours, they just used our facilities, IN Another country, but to no avail. She insists we grind them, and into the original bag, of course, and now, of course.</p> <p>Once she gets her beans, no other purchase, and no tip, thank you or anything, she proceeds to place them in the back of her large SUV. Said bag falls off of seat in transit. She then needs to have her SUV proffesionaly cleaned to get rid of the smell, and WE need to pay for it.</p> <p>My supervisor AGREES to pay for it, of course, so hard to get good help these days..etc etc.</p> <p>WE get reamed out for not taping the bag shut more securley.</p> <p>REALLY? If the smell of coffee bothered you THAT much, why drink it? And, sure, you got your SUV cleaned for free, but now we get talked to like we are a bunch of inbred idiots for the next month.</p> <p>Case number two.</p> <p>Restaruant, R__s, a family type generic place here in Canada. Guy comes in, and nothing is ever good enough for him. Whichever of the two types of coffee mugs he gets, is never good enough. Yet he plays the martyr each time and won&#8217;t exchange it. The smaller one needs to be refilled, but not when we come around with coffee, only when our hands are full serving, and he snaps his fingers at us to do so and points to his cup. The larger cup, the coffee gets cold before he can drink it, and he just whines about it.</p> <p>Pancakes: he complains they are too small, and if we make them bigger, they are too large. He would like the cook (single working mom of a disabled child) fired for this. Why can&#8217;t she just make them the size he wants? Same for eggs. He once told me, in a shocked voice, that he had been barred from most other places.. and once even when he brought his own eggs in to be cooked (he did not like their eggs) he was told to take them home and cook them himself. He cannot understand why?</p> <p>WORSE still. Our manager likes to sit with him and help calm him down, shoot the breeze and otherwise suck up to this man. He buys off the &#8216;value&#8217; menu and rarely tips&#8230; why?</p> <p>Case Three:</p> <p>Family Type food joint, cross Canada and the States:</p> <p>D__&#8217;s. family comes in and has breaky. Fine. they want to sit in the close area, and at the table for 7, there are 4 of them, plus a toddler, but, we let them, why not? It is a small thing, and they seem nice enough.</p> <p>Till we go over to refill their coffee. They want 4 large waters..okay. We bring them.THEN they let the child FILL them up with salts, sugars and pancake syrups.. stir with spoons, poor on the table.. pour syrup on table, place napkins in it. Made the largest mess we had ever seen, I kid you not. $2.00 tip and they did have the decency to look a little embarrassed, but did not offer to clean any of it up.</p> <p>It amazes me how people treat those in customer service. I have had to threaten to hit people with my tray as they try and slap my ass, at family type places, I have had people steal my tips while paying with (trying too) $100.00 bills, I have had my own stuff stolen from the employee table.. BUT you know what? NEVER by teenagers.
